This policy explains what information the Smart Tech ERP app
(package com.smarttech.school, "the app") collects, how it is used and
the choices you have. The app is provided by Smart Tech ERP ("we", "us") to
schools that use the Smart Tech ERP school management system, so that parents, students,
teachers and school staff can view school information on their phone. The app is developed
and published on Google Play by Zuxus Business Solution on behalf of Smart Tech ERP.
1. Who can use the app
The app has no public sign-up. Accounts are created by the school, and you log in with the school code, username and password the school gives you. The app is meant to be used by parents, guardians, teachers and school staff. When a child's information is shown, it is shown to that child's parent or guardian, or to authorised school staff.
2. Information the app collects

Messages are only visible to you, the teacher and authorised school staff, and are kept by the school. |

| App usage and device information (Firebase Analytics): app version, device model, Android version, approximate country, app instance ID, advertising ID, and which screens are opened | To understand how the app is used and to improve it. The advertising ID is used only for these statistics, never to show ads. You can reset or delete it in your phone's Settings › Google › Ads. |

The app does not collect your location, contacts, SMS, call logs, camera or microphone input. It does not show ads.
3. Payments
If your school lets you pay fees in the app, the payment page is provided by the school's payment gateway. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on the gateway's secure page and are handled by that provider under its own privacy policy. The app does not store payment card details.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only:
- with your school, which owns the school records;
- with service providers who run parts of the app for us: Google Firebase (notifications and analytics), our hosting provider, the school's payment gateway, and YouTube when you play a video in the app;
- when required by law.
5. Security
All data between the app and our servers is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to school records is limited to accounts the school has authorised.
6. How long we keep information
School records are kept for as long as the school uses Smart Tech ERP, or as the school decides. Diagnostic logs are kept only for a short time and are overwritten automatically. Analytics data is kept according to Google Firebase's retention settings.
7. Your choices and data deletion
- Log out at any time from the menu. This removes the saved login token and data from your phone.
- Notifications can be turned off in your phone's settings.
- To see, correct or delete your account or a student's records, contact your school, or email us at smarttecherp23@gmail.com. We will act on the request together with your school within 30 days.
8. Children
The app shows information about students, who may be children, to their parents or guardians and to authorised school staff. We collect students' information only on behalf of the school and only to provide the school's services. We do not use it for advertising.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
